Scottyboy is home. This is a short blog ’cause it's almost bedtime. But I've been watching the RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) on the talk shows spin the whole illegal immigration thing. It amazes me that the No. 1 thing on their minds is appealing to the Hispanic vote and trying to win it. Wouldn't it be nice if politics weren't like a football game? It seems all any party cares about is winning election, even if it means compromising core values to win. It's all a game anymore. Nobody represents the taxpayer, the common guy like me who gets up every morning and makes a paper. I don't give a rat's rectum about the Hispanic vote. It's time for the GOP to split. Let the McCains of the world appeal to whomever. Let them think about winning elections so that they can continue to ride in their limos at our expense. It's time for a new breed — the original one, really — of Republican. It's time for a J.D. Hayworth to stand up and go for the big pulpit. C'mon, J.D.!!!!! Are you the only voice of reason in Congress? Sure, Trent Lott Jr. (Bill Frist) talks the game, but he's clearly a moderate trying to garner voter support. Forget winning elections. It's time to focus on the safety and well-being of our country. Stop allowing $17-billion a year to be shipped back down to Mexico by illegal immigrants. Oh, yeah, sorry. Forgot to be PC. Undocumented migrants. They bring their TB, drugs and crime here, and we're supposed to say, "It's OK." Screw that. Again, I'm all for them doing it the legal way. Go through the process to become a citizen. Is it a hassle? Too bad. If it's not worth it, stay in your own pathetic country. I'll never support rewarding anyone for illegal behavior. We have laws in place for a reason. It makes no sense to say, "You broke the law. Pay a fine and be a legal illegal immigrant. Put another American out of a job while you're at it." C'mon, Congressman Hayworth. It's time for the exploratory committee. Go for it. You got my vote. Scottyboy gone.
